I guess you would be better of with a Alpha 200 it has a great image qualitiy, well the kit objectiv isn’t great but you could look for some good used konica minolta af objectivs (note it will give you 1.5times the zoom factor because the camera hasn’t a full format sensor)
well if you want to spend a little more like 300 dollars you can get a a100
if anyone knows a good camera for a short price tag about 200 dollars price tag please tell me if you can give advice
I finally got my A350 today! its pretty good but i still prefer the A300 with the faster 3fps compare to 2.5fps. im looking to get a better len then the ones that comes with the kit

oh one thing i dont like about this camera is the pop up flash when u put the hood on and when the flash fired u can see shadows of the hood
i brought a A300 for my gf for her birthday lastweek. i had a good play with and loving it. i didnt want to give it to her. so its either the camera or my gf. gf won! so yesterday i went out and got one better the A350. i cant wait to get i, its still in shipping. the camera is not bad for the price you for. You get what you pay for right? but value for you money

I’m agreeing that the lens is bare bones and can barely zoom in to my finger if I point in front of it but it should be cool when i come up with dough for a better camera.

I´ve got the a350,you dont hear it.what you hear is the clicking of the switch and not the mirrow.

I heard it when you switched to live view. You said I wouldn’t hear it but I did, so there.
Dude has a stick mic on his shirt.
Get a freakin’ card so that we can see what’s going on in Live View.
When that flash pops up with a longer lens, you’re going to have some trouble getting all the light out there ya know.

the Canon XSi has come down a bit in price since the release of T1i which has something like 15mp and it does 1080p video… Used? I’ve seen them (XSi) going for $550-$600 on eBay that’s in “like new condition” (with the basic lens)
